The Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship is welcoming the workforce back with leading edge technology designed to provide fresher air and a clean and safe work environment for the staff, incubator tenants, coworkers, clients and guests of the Keene-based entrepreneurship center.
Nature uses lightning, waterfalls and ocean waves to break apart molecules, naturally cleaning the air and producing a healthy environment. An ionizer generates ions that mimic these natural processes in a building’s HVAC system, producing ions that reduce pathogens, allergens, particles, smoke, and odors in the air, creating a healthy environment. K.E. Bergeron Mechanical Systems installed the iWave air purifier to introduce ionization into the air handling system at Hannah Grimes. When the ions contact viruses, bacteria or mold in the air, they remove hydrogen molecules. Without their hydrogen molecule, the pathogens have no source of energy and die. In addition, the device binds allergens such as pollen, dust and dander, so they are large enough to catch in the existing standard air filters.
