As a precursor to Southwest Region Planning Commission’s innovative Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Design Challenge, we’re inviting you to exercise your creativity by taking part in a hands-on event where you’ll build your very own ADU model – using recycled materials! Open to kids, adults, and anyone who wants to participate, join us at Heberton Hall on March 8th to learn about housing solutions for the Monadnock Region in an exciting and family-friendly way.
Everyone will have the chance to vote on their favorite ADU and the winner will receive a prize.
We’ll provide snacks, cardboard, scissors, tape, and glue. Please feel free to bring additional supplies like wooden dowels, popsicle sticks, washable markers, and other craft materials. Please do not bring glitter, box cutters, or permanent markers.
Hosted by the Monadnock Resource Alliance‘s Entrepreneurial Solutions to Improve Housing Access for Everyone Committee.
